About Aaron

Playwright. Theatre Director. Youth practitioner. 90’s pop enthusiast.

Trained as an actor at The International School of Screen Acting in 3 Mills Studios, London. It is here that, through extracurricular activities, the passion for writing and directing was born. Heading down the path of creation and imagination.

Since graduating in 2012, he has been working for various youth companies in the South East. Helping to write and develop plays for teenagers and young adults, that challenge, entertain and give a large casts equal opportunities. He was recently awarded a DYCP grant from the Arts Council to further develop plays that young people have helped to create and want to perform.

His first play/commission ‘Youth’ was a success at the Brighton Fringe festival. A story crossing 100 years with 28 actors. Every character is relevant, and every story is vital to the play. Showing young students the struggles of youth through the decades and the challenges they had to overcome.

Since then, he has continued to work with various different companies. Exploring an idea, writing and developing a script, rewriting and writing again and again and again, until Aaron and the students have a play they are all proud of. Currently in residence with ‘The Young Actors Group in Brighton and an associate playwright with Living Records.

Inspired by life to create plays that intertwine through character story arcs. Exploring all genres, eras, and breeds of people. Exaggerating the past, challenging the present, and allowing imaginations to run wild in the future. Writing in whatever direction the mind decides to go and inspiration takes.

All the plays on this website have been workshopped and performed by the age advised. The play’s duration ranges from 30 minutes to 1 hour, 20 minutes, with both small and large cast sizes.

"I’m really proud of these plays. I loved the process of developing them with different casts of young students from all backgrounds. They are the perfect mix for young actors to relish performing and adults to enjoy watching. I hope you have as much fun staging them as I had creating them."

"Now that they have been performed and finished, I would love to share them with everyone." Please get in touch if you are interested in staging any of these plays so that we can discuss the rights and fees.
